Boneman, Going by the deck plans HERE it looks like V21 and V30 "may" have the least obstructed views. It doesn't look like you could "sit" and see a lot without standing. If it isn't a real big price difference to go from an OV to the Obstructed Balcony it would be worth it in my opinion.

Thanks IslandCruz for the additional photos. It is $700 additional for the week, so that is a pretty substantial amount in my opinion to have to stand to see out. The beauty of a deck is to be able to sit and look out at the horizon and have your coffee, etc. The price difference for a deck vs. OV is quite substantial on Carnival. It was that big of a difference on NCL. Probably because they don't have as many deck cabins on this particular ship. Thanks again for the very helpful information.

Yes, the Fantasy class ships have very few balcony cabins. So those they do have are at a premium. It wasn't until the Destiny Class ships that they started building them with more balconies.
