A man was seen intentionally jumping off a balcony of the Carnival Sensation late last night. He was rescued by the crew of the Disney Wonder. Read about it here.

I swear, I am going to melt away like the wicked witch one of these days from the continued use of "fell overboard" when the person jumped.

A big "bravo zulu" to the Disney Wonder crew for rescuing the goob. I hope they bill him for it.

According to Gene Sloan's Blog the guy was heard arguing with a woman. He said he was going to jump overboard, she said "go ahead", and he did. The final sentence in the blog is priceless. "Help!"

I guess it's not funny to some, but I must have some wicked witch in my genes or something because I think it is hilarious.

It's sad that people resort to this type of relationship therapy. He's lucky to be alive.

I'm sure alcohol was a factor. The sad thing is that idiots like this jeopardize the safety of all on board.

ok so lets get this straight, this guy is arguing with a woman and says i am going to jump overboard, she says go ahead and he does. ah am I missing something here. who would be so stupid to jump off a ship in the middle of the ocean... He must be the stupidest and the luckiest guy on earth last night.

If I were him, I'd buy a huge vacation at Disney World for next year...something on land you know.

He should enter a class in anger management or AAA. I'm glad they rescused him, but man what WAS he thinking? Was the reason the Disney got him and not the Sensation was because the current in the area carried him so far away??

Well this is hoot! I called my Dad to wish him a happy birthday, the second thing he said to me was "someone jumped off one of those ships". I was so thrilled he got the news right. I told him the news usually says they fell overboard. He said no, this one jumped.

Finally some of these news stories are getting reported fairly!
