Boneman - We did the "pick your own time"dining aboard the Carnival Dream in Nov.2009 and enjoyed it immensly. There was no waiting and, as it turned out, we enjoyed the same wonderful wait staff each evening! The only change was...we dined at our own leisure..it was great!!

I don't remember that option either when I was making my booking for this summer for the carnival victory that's why I am asking...
Cas, they didn't add the option until late November. It should be available now for your booking.

On the page in this link click on the "Your Time Dining" link. It is under the picture and the the "Delicious Choices". It will give some info along with the ships it is available on.

They left out the Destiny, Imagination, and the Inspiration. However they were supposed to implement it on those ships last year. So, I'm not sure if they just inadvertently left them out or they were delayed yet.

The implementation schedule for the remaining ships is;

Glory 2-28-10
Fascination 3-29-10
Valor 5-2-10
Splendor 5-30-10

This will be an option as well on the Carnival Magic.

Good info here. I was a little curious as to exactly how this worked as we have chosen this option for our cruise! 11 days and counting down..

Hey yagerbomb, 11 days is getting real close!

To make the ticker work on this site, you have to use the BB Code.

HERE is a link to the instructions.

I hope CCL is not being Norwegianized! I don't like the "no style" dining.

They are just adding it as a dining option.

I'm going on the Miracle in 23 days...woo-hoo! We are booked for the 8:15 seating (as usual). However, assigned seating can be hit or miss. Sometimes we hit it off with our table mates and other times, not so much. If we get on board and decide we want to move to the "anytime" dinning option, will Carnival let us?

PS. Can anyone show me how to add my prior cruises, profile pic, and ticker to my profile?

Thanks,

Louis
