After our horrible experience on Carnival Conquest I thought I should warn everyone just how vulnerable you are when cruising with Carnival.
May 5th My best friend and cabin mate was assaulted outside of the disco under a surveillance camera on the Carnival Conquest and later disembarked in Jamaica under the unwarranted zero tolerance policy. He did make it home after having quite the scary night left in Jamaica but still to this day we have never been told why they wouldn't watch the video surveillance camera and exactly what he did that was warranted to be kicked off the ship.
So I think people should know just how vulnerable they are while taking a Carnival Cruise as he was Victimized by the gang that attacked him then again by Carnival when they didn't protect him and did the opposite by kicking him off in Jamaica without a passport.
It could have been anyone it could happen to you or your family just as easy so be awear of this.

Gee, In 30 Carnival Cruises I have never heard or seen anything like this. Seems you've left a lot out of your story.

I was believing the story until I read

"by kicking him off in Jamaica without a passport"
I believe that is not even legal to do so in Jamaica that is not the legal policy of any Caribbean island
if you desembark on it you have to have some Papers to do so...and I don't think carnival is that heartless

We have had nothing but great cruises on Carnival !! I believe there's alot more to this story and Carnival must had a real good reason to that.Like to hear the real story and both sides.

I doubt that is the full story either. I think they would have had a really good reason to disembark someone.

out of all the 11 carnival cruises i have been on.i have only seen 1 incident, and they were a couple argueing in the hallway..i feel safe on carnival.and i find it hard to believe they would kick someone off a ship inless there was a reason, and like dwayne said they have to follow that ports rules. its seems that it would not be that easy. and dont they have a brigg on the ship?

A great deal of the story is missing. A cruise line might confine you to your cabin or cut off your onboard charges for extreme behavior. To be put off of a ship, you would have to have done something criminal. They could not put anyone off a ship without proper papers.

Sounds like a drive-by poster who truly is in their own world.

I think there is something rotten in Denmark, and it ain't the cheese.. This story does not add up at all. I have sailed all the major cruise lines and have had better overall treatment and service on Carnival than any of the others..
