Thanks, Dave. I'm thinking the schedules will get more difficult with the new comedy clubs. I didn't find a web site for Dean. I think he should get one as he has a loyal legion of fans.
Just a follow up here about Dean Gaines. We were fortunate enough to have Dean appearing at the Punchliner on my recent cruise on the Carnival Fantasy. I have not laughed that hard in many years. I literally laughed so much my ribs hurt the next day after both shows! I purposely sat a few rows back so I wouldn't get called out during the show for something. That didn't work and I still got called out for something, it was so funny.
It just so happened that I caught the aft elevator down from deck 9 and there was Dean and one of the musicians. He is the nicest person when off the stage as well. If you ever get a chance to see him at Carnival's Punchliner venue make sure to get there early. It will be packed!
serveral yrs ago Dean was boarding our ship in Key West and was standing beside me in line, without a doubt he is the nicest, friendliest, approachable person around. We had a great visit while waiting to board the ship, I agree with you Dwayne.
I would never miss his shows.
I went to the "R" rated ones. Laughter is the best medicine, and he sure knows how to make one laugh. It is so funny when he picks someone in the audience to talk directly to. The one's that have never seen him before seem shocked!
We just got off the Elation yesterday and he was one of the two comedians onboard there. I agree, he's very funny. So was the other one too - Carl Faulkenberry.
