We were on the Sensation in May,and Dean Gaines was the comedian and was very funny,we are wanting to book another cruise later in the year,and were wanting to find out if there is a way to find out what his schedule is,we can't seem to find anything on this,and we would like to see him again if he is still working on Carnival ships,thanks
Comedians, like most feature acts, are independent contractors and might be anywhere at any given time. This is something that isn't tracked anywhere I know of. Perhaps Carnival's senior cruise director John Heald might be able to help. Go to John Heald's Blog and you'll be able to ask him.
I thoroughly understand why you'd want to know his schedule. I saw him on the Celebration "I think", I'd have to pull out my stack of capers to check for sure. Anyway, I 'bout busted a gut laughing during his show.
The best thing would be to ask John if he knows or can find out for you as was suggested. I am not sure they have a set schedule for comedians as to my understanding they are often late type bookings and are not known way ahead in advance.

We bought his CD last time we saw him on Carnival... he is very funny, but apparently a very common name as a google search does not return an obvious website for him. I checked his CD but there isn't one listed on that either.
