We just signed up for the anytime dining for our cruise on the Dream 1/10 as we find it gives us much more flexibility - however - just talked to somebody who had a terrible experience with this on a recent canival cruise. They were given pagers that malfunctioned a lot. I know this is new to Carnival - has anyone experienced this? Should I play it safe and go for the traditional or hope they get the bugs worked out in 9 months.

I've never heard of pagers malfunctioning from anyone, but we've only done Anytime on Princess. I'm sure they'll have the bugs worked out in less than 9 months, people will not be happy if their pager doesn't work, and they want happy customers.
I'm sure they'll have the bugs worked out by then too. I am considering this dining option for my Dream cruise too. I haven't had a chance to try it yet. I know they are reconfiguring the dining room seating on the ships to allow for more 2 and 4 tops.
denjoker, you are still cracking me up with that ticker.
