$40 a day for booze is not a lot of money. I know the last cruise I did in '07 on the Carnival Triumph my bar tab for 7 days was about $75 per day.

I've not hit $75 a day yet.

I think mine gets higher because I buy the Bucket O' Beers, and then friends borrow a few and don't pay me back. It sounds like a good excuse to me.
