Has anyone used the anytime dining option on a carnival ship? How did this seem to work for you? We are traveling on our next cruise with two other families. We have all opted for the anytime dining and were wondering if we would be able to eat together a few nights. Thanks.

No reason why you shouldn't be able to eat together. Depending on what time you go to dinner you may have to wait for a table.

I haven't tried it yet. Yes, you can eat together. You can request any table size you like. If there is a wait time, they are supposed to give you a pager so you can wait elsewhere on the ship.

Hi daisey, I think you'll find anytime dining a good option. The reasons we like are: You don't have to rush to get ready, you can meet more people on board (if you share a table-which you don't have to), and you can eat when you're hungry.

Thanks everyone. A wait would not be bad if we had a pager and can go anywhere on the ship to wait. One of my favorite things about cruising is meeting our table mates. Maybe opting for anytime dining will make this even more fun. We have 7 in our party and we did want to be sure we could eat together for a few meals. We didn't choose a dining time because there were too many different opinions of when to eat. Some were used to eating late and others wanted to eat early. We thought with anytime dining we could eat together a few times and if someone wanted to eat earlier or later one night, they would be able to.
