Carnival did deliver a letter to my cabin moments ago stating that we would received a $12.46 refund for Grand Cayman and a discount for 20% off a future cruise... far more than we were entitled to.
I have freind who choose Hurrican season in the hopes they get diverted and get some kind of benifit. Like 20% off next cruise. He has hit it a couple of times and loves getting money off the next one. I'd rather cruise in Jan and Feb to get out of NH for a while
I'm convinced that the people who rabble-rouse over missed ports are the same type who start fights at little league games because their kid got called out by the umpire.
Chronic malcontents always looking for an excuse to complain and feel offended - they have miserable existences which don't meet the standard for having "a life".
Hi all...and I agree with all of you...as I have always said, some folks should never leave home!!!!
You pay good money for the cruise, so why not enjoy the ship...lots to do and see..IMO...

"Twits" is an accurate description. Folks like this never cease to amaze me. I wouldn't be surprised if they put them on a "naughty" list of some sort.
Read the Contract!! Carnival is not GOD. He has control over the weather not them.. And how selfish, people are dead in Jamaica! Get a grip! They should have been kicked of in Cozumel and really give them something to be mad about..I hate people like this.Carnival gave eveyone a good compensation I think.. Some people just like to complain abot everything.. I have no use for them at all...
Anyone who doesn't understand that the Captain's first responsibility is the safety of the passengers, crew, and ship, is more self-absorbed than can be imagined.
I had the opportunity to do that once. I worked with a real jerk. One time in the lunch room, he just purchased a sandwich out of the vending machine. I went up to him and told him what a waste of a perfectly good sandwich. The maggots at the garbage dump could have used it, but now you have ruined it for them and they have to go hungry.
