Don't worry about the food. There is lots to choose from in the diningroom and the buffet. Try different things. I can't understand the people who complain that the food isn't the same as they get at home.
The weather will do whatever it wants and your itinerary may get changed. Worst case scenario was a cruise from New York to Bermuda that was changed to New England and Canada because of a hurricane. The main problem was that people didn't have clothes for cooler weather. If you have the attitude that you are on vacation and can enjoy yourself wherever you are, you will be happy.
