Is the norwalk virus still rampant on cruise ships/ Does being careful with washing hands and watching doorknobs and stuff like that help..or is it a case of if you get it you;ll get it through the food. Are there any avoidance methods?

I was ABSOLUTELY ASTONISHED on the Glory in March watching the cleaning that was going on! Every hour there were employees wiping down doorknobs, stairwells, chairs etc. They handed out a sheet that is was still going on but our ship was SURE on top of it! I was extremely impressed!

Wash your hands, be cautious about touching your face, wash your hands, try to avoid situations where you may come i contact with things hundreds of other people have just tourched, wash your hands, us the hand sanitzers in the buffet, wash your hands.

Tom, it can't be said too many times...WASH YOUR HANDS FREQUENTLY.....and then wash them again!!!!!!..........Linda

Bath and Body works carrys those hand sanitizers now with different scents and not just the gross alcohol stuff. I bought a couple of those and kept one in every bag to use. Swim bag, pocketbook etc.
