I see free upgrades are offered right now but what does the 6C and 6D really mean? Which desk is the best to stay on? I know I want to stay Oceanview and I have five of us in one room (little kids.)

Thaks.

Welcome to Cruise Chat. The 6C and 6D are both outside cabins. The D is only one deck higher than the C. The cabins are the same size on either deck.

That many kids in one room?!? I wouldn't be worried about oceanview, I would be searching for something with padded walls and an assortment of straight jackets. Humor aside, many people feel that by moving up a deck, the rooms will be bigger and the service a little better. Nope. The only thing an upper deck room will offer over a riviera deck room is a few less steps to the lido deck and dining room.
