Hi, guys!
I DO have the past guest numbers. They are on our accounts on Carnival. We have completed the FunPass information and completed the past cruise section to list the history of our cruises. The website lists our past guest numbers when we log-in. SO, I am surmising that Carnival will use the FunPass to see that we have been on a cruise with them before and issue us a gold card instead of the first time cruiser cards. When I booked the cruise, it did ask if I had cruised with them before. I booked through Yahoo! Travel. Do you guys think I still should call just to check, or what?
Thanks for the great answers!

Hi getfuzzy, You are most certainly welcome. Since you used Yahoo, Carnival will not discuss your reservation directly with you. I am thinking since they asked if you have cruised Carnival before it should be fine. If you can contact Yahoo to make sure it wouldn't be a bad idea. Maybe just me, but I seem to attract Murphy's Law.

Another thing is to take your past guest numbers with you just in case. That way they can fix it, and make a new card.

Best to you,

I thought the Gold card was just for past cruisers with 10 cruises. We have only been on four. If we get gold ones, we are sure going to feel special. Getting so anxious now as we leave in couple of weeks.

We had gold Sail & Sign cards on our Carnival cruise last year, and it was only our second sailing with them. I don't know what color is reserved for those with 10 or more past cruises.
Happy cruising!

Lisa, I believe its the Platinum card for 10 or more. The blue one lets everyone know you are a first time cruiser, the gold for 2-9 cruises and platinum for 10 or more.

Carol- You are correct except that for Suite cabin bookings, the Platinum card is also issued. (VIP checkin I guess) Unless they just made a mistake on our Alaskan cruise.
