ENTERTAINMENT ON CARNIVAL GLORY

I READ SOMEWHERE THAT THE MAIN SHOW ON THE CARNIVAL GLORY SHOWED AT 7:00 AND 9:00, INSTEAD OF 8:00 AND 10:00, LIKE SOME OF ITS SISTER SHIPS WHICH MAKES IT HARD TO GET TO YOUR DINNER SEATING AND MAKE IT TO A SHOW ON TIME OR TO DINNER ON TIME? IS THIS TRUE?

yes b/c it depends on when you eat dinner.

I am not sure about when the show times were, but I do remember that after dinner, we always had time to make it to the show, and sometimes, we were some of the latest to leave the dining room
I don't think you will have a problem making the shows. JMHO

Hi, I am Rhedd from TN. I would like to book a cruise on 6/30/07. Which side of Glory should we get our cabin on? Is paying the extra for a balcony worth it?

Hi Rhedd. As far as balcony goes...it depends on the individual. There are some that think that since you don't stay in your room that much, but are out on the ship most of the time, why bother with a balcony.
I am of the opinion that a balcony is ALWAYS good
As far as which side of the ship, you will have to tender in Belize...I am not sure if they are still tendering in Cozumel so either side of the ship would be good. As far as Bahamas, coming into Nassau, you get a pretty good view when in Port from the right side. And Costa Maya - I have no idea....but after September, I will definitely know.

I had a my first balcony cruise on the Glory. My wife and I loved it, and will always book a balcony if possible. My friend also sailed the Glory, her brother had a balcony and she an interior, they are sailing again on the Liberty and this time both have balconys. I liked it but can't articulate what was so nice. But I recommend it.

On our first cruise, we were upgraded from an interior to a balcony. I will never get anything but a balcony again. I found it great to be able to step out there before going to bed or after waking up. You'll find it exhilirating!
