The best place to be!!!!...It's always good to be within stumbeling distance from the elevators.
I stayed on the FANTASY in Cabin M1 the first cabin in the bow...man what a walk that was. Where there are elevators there are stairs. keep me close to the stairs or I get a lil clostrophobic.
Carol, looks like you are on the Glory before me...I will be interested to hear about your experience when you return. I also see that you are from SC. That is where I was born and raised. Moved to NC about 7 years ago.
Rhonda,
I am so excited..can't wait!!! I have been on 2 cruises...on with Carnival and one on the SS Norway...I was alot younger and probably didnt appreciate the trips as much I will now. My husband has never been on a cruise. It has taken me 5 years or so to convince him we nned to go. We will celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary on board. I am excited about going on a cruise with my love and best friend. I think this will be a wonderful trip for us to experience together.

Dee,
Congrats on your anniversary! When you get onboard and make your way to the Lido Deck, look for a waiter named Agus who is from the Phillipines, he's wonderful. Also, there is a very attentive bartender in the "On the Green" bar (next to the casino) named Alex. The staff is all around wonderful and friendly. Are you going on the Eastern or Western trip?

Dee, Yep I am escorting a group on the Glory, first time on her, but I was on the Valor in November and they are sister ships, same lay-out. Dont think I can tell you much about it since you will be boarding the same day I am disembarking, but we can compare notes when you return. I havent gotten my cabin assignment as of yet because Carnival groups has a restriction on triples in the group dept for this sailing. If you have 3 to a cabin you have to take an automatic cabin assignment, and my experience with groups is we usually get a pretty good upgrade. Why settle for deck 6 when we might get deck 10. I did on the Valor, and when I was on the Triumph from Charleston booked a 6A guarentee and was upgraded to 6E.
Yes I am from SC, live about 40 miles west of Myrtle Beach, in a little town called Marion. Most people going to Myrtle beach pretty much come close to our town. Lived here for over 25 years now. What part of SC were you born in?
I am from Andrews. Lived there the first 23 years of my life..got married and moved to Conway (so we were neighbors. We have lived in Shallotte the last 8 years. We were displaced because of hwy 31...one of the right aways was coming thru our front yard. The traffic in COnway got worse every year because of that Myrtle Beach traffic, so I know just what you are talking about.
I cant wait to be able to compare notes with you when I get back. I am so excited. Making the reservations last week made all more real.

Do you know any Coleman's in the area?
Rhonda,
We are going on the Westrern Carribean trip. My earlier cruises were to the Eastern, so I figured this would be a way for us to experience something different. Did you go to the Eastern or Western? I have asked this question a few times but know one seems to know, but in your on board experience, did you notice one club that might play a little more slow music for us to go slow dancing?
