Eric,
Not sure when you are planning on crusing, but right now Carnival is offering a "special" military discount for sailings between 9/15/05 -3/15/06. Prices start at $290 for an inside cabin.

Dear Eric,
We just booked a Suite on "The Pride" out of Long Beach for 3/12. We rec'd about a $700/800.00 discount because my husband served almost 3 yrs. in Vietnam.(Central Intelligence) We were told if you're active, retired or served 2 yrs. military at any time you get the discount. They required us to fax over his honorable disch. papers along w/a photo I.D. within 72 hrs. It used to be only for active/retired military. They just extended it this yr. (we're told) for anyone at anytime serving 2yrs. or more.
Hope this helps! Hey, good-luck over there and "THANKS" if we were on your sailing the drinks would be on us.
