For my cruise we want to book a room with a window (ocean view)
I see it asks for section wanted like M2, R16, R10 etc..

On Carnival Inspiration window room, what section is best from your guys' personal experience?

and can you chose what category you want because I don't want portholes i want a window haha

All of the cabins you mentioned are porthole cabins.

I personally prefer Mid Ship cabins not too far away from the elevators.

If you book a Guaranteed Cabin Category they will pick your cabin. If you book an Assigned Cabin you can pick your cabin from the ones that are available.

To avoid a porthole cabin you will have to book a Category 6A or higher.

x3Twilight I know they are more expensive, but if you can work it into the budget, go for a balcony cabin. You will Love it. My wife and I have done three Carnival cruise and are booked on a forth and would not have anything else.
