Carnival also takes at least 30 to 45 days to respond to concerns. They will respond if send to headquarters.
Also, I was on the Victory from Apr 5 to 12 and had a wonderful time. Good food, good service, beautiful ports. It was great. I'm sorry they had troubles. That is never good. This was my 1st platinum Carnival cruise and it was great. Top perks being free laundry service and the private galley tour. I was very pleased.

Glad to hear you had a great Platinum cruise.

What you said about the time frame for a response seems right to me. I have never had to complain about any of these type of issues though.

Welcome back, etinca, glad to hear your platinum cruise was a successful one! Thank heavens you don't have to wait long for your next cruise, that always helps ease the pain of the debarkation blues. I hope HAL is as wonderful of a cruise as Carnival Destiny was! Best wishes and welcome home!

My wife got violently ill halfway through a cruise on the Glory. It could have been many things including the result of dining at a small place in Cozumel - granted - she was miserable - but we didn't ditch Carnival as a result. You have to take the good with the bad. I'm a restaurant manager (in real life) and can tell you that you stand a much better chance of getting food poisoning from your local greasy spoon than on a ship. I'm always amazed at their food handling practices and standards they keep. Chef Ramsey would be proud YES? Get to the doctor Tony!

Thanks for the well wishes.....we had a great time for sure. Platinum was sure worth the effort. The Eurodam this summer should be great, but we realllly wanted Carnival before they pulled the Liberty out. Our kids are coming 9/5 and should have quite the experience.
