Am hoping I meet up with someone going on the Triumph that has teenagers. We are taking 16 yr old granddaughter and would hope there are a few kids in her age group.

Hi Sherry, School should be in for that time. But should still be some in that age range I would think for her to meet. I would ask the Social Hosts right away. and introduce your granddaughter to them. They are pretty good.

Another suggestion is to post the topic as a roll call with the sailing date. It could get only responded to about the ship itself as just Triumph. Hope this helps, and best to you.

As Island mentioned, that is during the school year. However, our area has Fall Break during that time.....so I would imagine that many other school districts do as well.

I am sure she will have a wonderful time!

Even though school will be in session there will be a few children aboard. They have groups that do things on the ship, they have like camp counseler's Carnival does a good job with the kids. They will also have certain hours that the teens only will have the disco all to them selves, for thier type of music and entertainment! Tom

Thanks for suggestions. First, granddaughter goes to year round school so is on break on Oct. 13, second, I am so computer challenged. I have no clue how to do the Roll Call thing.
Can someone talk me through it.

Hello, I don't have any grandchildren to be with yours, but I just wanted to say I hope you have as wonderful trip on the Triumph, as we did last year.

I have been on 7 cruises, and it was one of the best.

If you should have any questions in regard to the Triumph, please feel free to ask.

Musicforthemasses, unfotunately, I do not know about the bed situation. I'm sure if you contact Carnival, I believe they would be able to tell you about the bed situation on the floors or cabins.

So you are from Germany, how nice. The reason I say this is my father who has since passed away, was born in Germany, so thus, I am "half" German too.

If/when you go, I hope you enjoy your Triumph cruise as much as we did.

I am not going to be on your cruise but I am 13 and have been on 4 cruises. You should have no problem finding people for your granddaughter to hang out with. Within the second day I had already made friends and was hanging out with them. Hope this helps.
