I booked and IG. Yesterday I got my cabin assignment. It's number 7169 on the Pride. I think I am ok. Agree or disagree?

Congrats! I will have to agree with you being ok.

Actually, more than ok. Going from the Riviera Deck 1 to Verandah Deck 7 is nice. Nice mid forward cabin location too. Just 2 decks up to Lido. You should love the Carnival Pride.

The only thing that i found out is the higher you go,the more you feel the ship move. Saying that,if you are twards the middle you are fine.but these ships are pretty good about not moving as bad as the older ones. like dwayne said it is great to be twards the top. closer to the food have a great cruise!!
