DO these really work? I just explained to my engineer-husband about the accupressure and he very skeptical! I don't want to be sick on our first cruise!

The over the counter sea sick bands are a joke. Ask your doctor for a Transderm scop patch. One patch lasts 3 days. It is a little dot behind the ear. You will see 50% of the passangers wearing them. You can swim and shower with them on. Olways get one extra in case it falls off,

There are people who swear they do work, and people who swear that they don't work. . . .It depends on the person, I guess.

There was a thread on this board not too long ago about remedies. . . . You can research it under the "find" button. . . There are a lot of good ideas. . .ginger, bonine, transdermal patches, etc.

I prefer the transdermal scopolamine patch and didn't have any of the side-effects from it.

The patch worked for us. Although we didn't need it every day, it worked when we needed it.

You can always try ginger as well. It is a natural rememdy. Best Wishes!!

I DID THE PATCHES AND THEY WORKED GREAT I DO GET SEA SICK AND MY HUSBAND AND I BOTH HAD IT ON THE WHOLE TIME, ALTHOUGH MY DOCTOR 'S WIFE USED THE BRACLET AND SHE SAID IT WORKED FOR HER SO DEPENDS I GUESS SAFE WAY THE PATCH
