Last year our NCL stateroom has an ironing board and iron. This wll be our first on Carnival. Can I assume that CCL has the same?

What ship was that? I have never ever seen an ironing board and iron on any ship in a cabin. Not even on the NCL ships I have been on.

I have never seen an ironing board in any cabin on a CCL ship either.

We usually take a travel iron and use the desk, or take the steamer thing. Last year for the first time I used their service for pressing. They did a good job on my dinner jacket and was only $3 or so. The Steward took it and delivered it back for formal night.

If my memory is correct, we were told to not take an iron on our last cruise. They considered it a fire hazard. Does anyone know what the charges are for a woman's formal, for pressing or steaming?

I plan to take the advice of many on here by covering my clothes in the plastic from the cleaners. They say this will keep them from wrinkling, but just in case I may take advantage of the ship's services.

When I first get onboard I'll fill out one of the laundry cards and call down ..they pick up my shirts (Press Only) and have them back to me in a few hour's looking better than I can Iron them. and the whole deal is like under $10.00 very worth it.
your on Vacation.... Splurge a little
Take $10.00 out of your pocket right now and put it in your Cruise Fund Jar...go on..go on...thats it it's done

Carnival does have self serve laundromats in their ships on the stateroom decks, with irons, ironing boards, washers and dryers

Per Carnival's website iron's aren't allowed onboard. Per their websit to press a dress is $6.00. It doesn't state long or short.
