The ship leaves out of Jacksonville at 4pm. What time will you be able to board the ship? Can you board the ship before this 4pm?

Please make sure you are on board well before 4 pm. They will usually start boarding around noon. They should have included that in your documentation. Sometimes they will board earlier, but the cabins won't be ready. They'll let you go to the buffet for a nice lunch.

You have to be checked in no later than 60 minutes prior to scheduled departure time. If not you may be denied boarding. Look here for more details. Even if it says it starts at 1:30pm, it is common to start much earlier than that. The cabins may not be ready until 1:30pm but you can still board and eat lunch and look around, have a cocktail, etc.

I just want to add that my Cruise Documents say 12:30 for earliest boarding for Port Canaveral. I usually try to be in line by 11:30 at the latest.

If your FunPass is not completed at least 3 days prior to your cruise date, you will have to be checked in 90 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. This means Checked In, not standing in line. It is very important to have the FunPass completed ahead of time

The days of making it at the last minute, and waiting for late arrivals are over. This is a Federal Law.
