Hello all I am back from the Carnival Liberty, I had a really good time it is officiall I love cruising, here is my opinion I will try to keep it short as possible.

The embarkation was way to long I mean line after line after line. ( maybe I was just to excited) The ship it self was so confusing from front to aft on a floor was like a maze. I never saw my cabin steward couldn't tell you if it was a male or female. But my cabin was always cleaned very well. I saw a very funny comedy show. Captains cocktail party was very nice, I am a foodie .....here is where it all went wrong for me the variety of food was very disappointing but what was there was very tasty. I saw several people get hurt by the pools because of the slippery ground so be careful. So in my opinion on a scale from 1-10 I will give the overall ship and my experiance an 8.

anything specific let me know.

Spiritfilled-

I agree whole heartedly that ship's in that class for Carnival have a very poor layout. If you try Carnival again, book a Spirit class or Conquest class of ship. They both do a much better job on the layout.

Welcome back Spiritfilled!

Glad you had a good cruise overall. Those decks are slippery, especially where they have the marble. They need to put some type of anti-slip coating on them. Did you notice if they had the spinach lasagne in the Lido restaurant? It was my favorite on the Glory.

Jim, not trying to be technical, but the Liberty is a Conquest Class ship. And they are a bit difficult to navigate.

HI
This is Sue and I looked for your pink hat everywhere onboard the Liberty. We had a great time as well. Lots of fun on our excursions and a good time in the casino. We enjoyed the food, but you are right it is sooo big. I didn't enjoy large screen on Lido...way to loud, we couldn't relax, read, or talk..but besides that it was great! Glad you had fun.

I'm happy to hear you had a really good time. Now that you…"officially love cruising", have you any plans for a future cruise?

Well I tried the choclate melting cake it was very good .....I am not really into chocolate cake but had to try it.

Yes Sonny we are thinking about the Genesis ship when it comes out I wonder how far in advance can you book a ship that has not even had it's maiden voyage. LOL but seriously no one is talking about a cruise any time soon sooo I guess I need to start the talks off whatcha think. Smiling.
