weather??

We are cruising out of Miami on the Fascination on 7/9/07, I'm wondering what the weather is usually like in Cozumel that time of year. I expect hot but wondering how hot and humid? Also if it will feel as hot on the ship?

Kellymo, It's hot and humid in January--I leave it to your imagination what July is like.

The ship will be fine inside. On deck you probably won't want to venture too far from a pool and a shady bar.

Expect "HOLY SMOKES THIS IS HOT", Kellymo. We were there once the week of June 20th, and you absolutely could not breath. It's the kind of heat/humidity that takes your breath away. I was sweating while taking my shower. No lie. Meanwhile, the locals are laughing, working, running outside and not one bead of sweat anywhere on them. Plan activities around air-conditioning or water. Good luck and stay cool. A'ndrea

Kellymo, also, don't expect your hair to stay perfectly "coiffed". Ponytail it or baseball cap. That's what I do. A'ndrea

Not only hot, but probably rain also. We have always gone in October. Beautiful weather. Once we went in late June and it rained every day.
Even saw a waterspout, which the ship went around.
Have a great time.
We are going on Oct. 13, Eastern Carib on the Triumph. can't wait.

I agree with SherryG, I like late October better about the weather. Or March.
