We will be taking our first cruise on the COnquest (along with several other family members - a mini family reunion!)

Anyone else from here on this cruise? Any tips from the well traveled cruisers for a first time newbie? :-)

Hey Peach - thanks for the good words & no problem on the post

That is odd though - I get mine sent to email as well and it posts the topic as well (I get HTML email though...maybe that is why?)

My husband and I will be on the October 9th cruise. We will be celebrating our 20th Anniversary. I believe we have amazed ourselves, lol.

ALL RIGHT! SOmeone from Cruise-Chat will be on board! We will be cruising witha whole gaggle of folks - this cruise is our 25th Anniversary - we are taking our kids (14 & 9) and @ 10 other members of the family are going as well (mini family reunion)

We should pick a time and place & way to recognize ourselves so we can introduce ourselves to each other ...I sugggest Monday (Sunday will be too hectic :-) maybe @ lunch??

Hi.. I will be getting back to Galveston on the Conquest the day you leave. I know of a fairly large group going on your Oct 9th date who are from Illinois. I have already cruised on this ship and loved it so much I am going again this year. Last year we couldn't go to Grand Cayman's because of a hurricane... can't remember which one at this point! Hope you have a great time! (hint.. I went to Sunset Beach resort in Jamaica for 20.00 PP, others went shopping further into the country and hated it so they ended up where I was....
oh and I paid 65.00 pp for the all inclusive Playa Mia Beach trip in Cozumel purchased thru Csrnival.. don't bother with it. Yes your transportation and food (AWFUL) and entrance fee and alchol are included but you can get a taxi and pay the $12 or $15 to get in and buy your own drinks and be way ahead!!!! If you have questions... ask me.

Hey Slucca!

Thanks for the kind words and great information! I agree with you that Sunset beach sounds like the way to go in Mo Bay!

We are going with CAPT Marvins in Cayman & Eagle Ray divers in Couzamel - any advice?

Bob
