I Just heard on the news that an elderly couple aboard the Carnival Paradise did not return from a 4 day cruise. No other details were available other than to say the FBI is investigating and though the ship was due to sail again it would be delayed until the investigation was done. He was 90 and his wife 79. I can only imagine why. Keep them and their family in our prayers.

The morning news and this article both mention the cruise line doesn't know if they disembarked at Catalina or Ensenada. I find that puzzling with the kiosk tracking everyone's embarkation/debarkation. However; this is sad news and we hope for the best.
The latest news out of California says their cabin door was double locked from the inside and a do not disturb sign was on the door. Also the balcony door was unlocked. No mention of a note being found. I am sure they have talked to the cabin steward to find out how long the do not discturb sign was on the door. So very sad! My heart goes out to the family.
The loss of any life at sea is felt by all of us. As fellow cruisers we feel losses of this type much more so than those who do not love and journey upon the sea.
My deepest sympathy to the family and friends of this missing couple. My most sincere hopes and prayers for the missing .
