It depends on you. The Destiny is very port-intensive. If you like the port-a-day cruise environment, go with Destiny. If you want a new ship that has 3 at-sea days, then it is Glory.
Two completely different ships. I did the Destiny last fall and loved, loved, loved the port-a-day. Nice islands, many of which are only visited by Carnival by way of the Destiny. The drawback on the Destiny (IMHO) is that it has more of Latin flavored environment on the ship and less Caribbean influenced. On some weeks, the ratio may be as much as 4-1, 4 being spanish-speaking (some bilingual, some not). However, with port-a-day you are not on the ship that much so that may or may not be a factor. The lounge plays nothing but salsa music every night and the disco will switch between disco/hip-hop and salsa, with salsa winning out most nights. I could say more but I don't want to start a fight on this board.
I am going on the Glory this fall but plan to cruise the Destiny again in Fall 2008. Hopefully by then Carnival will have switched to another ship and the passenger manifest will be a bit more balanced.
