Excursions

Taking my first cruise on Carnival Holiday-Western Carribean on April 29th. Should we book
shore excursions beforehand? Is there a way to find actual cost instead of $, $$, $$$, etc.
I know the range for $$ is $50-$99, but that's quite a range if a large group is going. I'd like actual costs and to know if we can wait til we are onboard ship to sign up for excursions or will some of them fill up? Thanks

You can call Carnival. Once you log into Carnival website with your booking number, you should be able to see actual prices.

We cruised to the Western Caribbean 2 years ago and are cruising to the Eastern in May. I would definitely arrange for all excursions on your own. The Carnival excursions are about twice the price and have about 3 times the people. We were very pleased with all of our excursions done privately and felt even more content after seeing the Carnival groups and their masses . . .
