thats cute, I hope he inherits your sense of humor. Kids do for sure change your life style, but enjoy em while their young. Far to soon they will fly the nest. You give them roots and then give them wings. Having children in no way should keep you house bound and it sounds like they aren't with you. Good girl, you just go and have some fun and enjoy the cruise through their eyes as well.

Hi Michele. I read your post regarding sleeping with the balcony door open. I must agree with baby doll. There are 2 chairs and a small table out on the balcony that he can prop up against the rail if he really wanted to. Three year old boys are inquisitive. Only you know him well enough to know he's not rambuncious enough to scale a 4 foot glass wall. Even so, why take any chances. For peace of mind sake, close the door when you go to bed and then open it again for the fresh morning sea air. Better to be safe than sorry.
And, again, just to reassure you, our family has been on 6 cruises thus far. Every Carnival ship pales in comparison to Pride.

Agrees with Andrea. I have been on older, newer, and bigger. They knew what they were doing when they named this ship.

I will never forget the day I boarded in 02, she was just a few weeks old then. I looked around the atrium and said "are you sure this is a Carnival ship"?

You guys are KILLIN' me! I want to go sooooo bad. What's worse is I keep looking at deals for next year. I am pretty sure I need to locate some kind of self-help group. I know they have a twelve step program out there just waiting for me. I know my husband would like to have me commited at this point!

1st Step: Admit you have a cruising problem

2nd Step: Set up a permenant monthly payment plan with the local travel agent

Michele..instead of duct-tape, don't forget the Camp Carnival babysitting service onboard until 3am!

I wouldn't have to wake up at 3am to go him at Camp Carnival if I just used the duct-tape! Although...I did get the room right down the hall from them....hum....

I guess it's just easier to keep the door shut We'll have to find other uses for the duct tape!

Michele don't feel bad about your addiction to cruising. My husband is outta space on wanting to go again. Every single day..he's worse than any kid saying, "are we there yet", and he is 62. I love that he is excited cause a lot of women would love to have a man like that, but there is life BEFORE we leave and he is missing that boat. Let me draw a better picture by saying this is not a man that is a long period between cruises. We just got off one 3 weeks ago! It is exciting to be around guys like you and him...like kids waiting for Christmas.

Now that's exactly what it's like...Christmas. Can't wait until it gets here (same)
- never enough money to buy all that I want (would really like a junior suite)

- hours/days spent wrapping the presents for the kids (um...have 178 days and I have the whole thing planned out already)

- and over in minutes (ok 7 days...but close enough)!!!

Yeah...it sure is just like Christmas! Is my travel agent Santa Claus???? Not until I get my DOCS!!!!!

Michele, that was a great idea to get a room by the carnival kids club. I am going to do that on our next cruise!
