Carnival Splendor engine room fire

The Splendor left San Diego this afternoon under it's own power en route to San Francisco for further repairs. It is being accompanied by two tug boats.

Update and correction to an earlier post. The Splendor should come into the Port of San Francisco early on Monday the 24th. if all goes well.
