What to do in Progresso?

I am cruising on the Holiday in May for my daughters senior trip. This will be my second cruise and her first! We are so excited-- although the Holiday has got some not so good reviews, I think that it can't be that bad right?? My first cruise was great (although we did get back to New Orleans a few days before Katrina hit) and I want my daughter to have a great time too!

Just go and have a great time...

If the girls are old enough to appreciate seeing one of the New 7 Wonders of the World, I would take the 2 hour bus ride and go see Chichen Itza....It's a wonderful and historical adventure....The last time I was in Progresso, there wasn't much to do....so I did go on the bus ride to see Chichen Itza...would do it again if I get the chance...Happy sailing for you and girls....
