Hi

Anyone else managed to change to this ship from the Elation? We were lucky enough to transfer to the Conquest, it cost more though. I now have to research what to do at Montego Bay and the Grand Caymans. Any ideas?

I'm on the Conquest 11/06/05 -- a lot of people are doing Sunset Beach in Jamaica, an all inclusive beach resort that charges I believe $20 bucks per person. The excursion to do in Grand Cayman appears to be Stingray City, swimming with stingrays. Most are booking this excursion through Captain Marvin's, it seems pretty reputable, comes well recommended and is more affordable than booking through Carnival. Good luck on your trip.

Hey shipmates, I feel very lucky and grateful to be answering to this roll call for the Conquest. I rec'd the news late last night from a friend as I don't have an email at home currently, (I'm at work this morning)As soon as I got here I got online and called Carnival, my cruise has been transferred to this one now with a bit of an $$ increase. I'll be on a budget for sure now but it's a small price to pay considering all my needs and necessities are met and I have a home to go to. I understand why Carnival has done this and i think it's wonderful! I have to admit that at first I felt angry and slighted by all this but the guilt kicked right in and I soon realized just how selfish i can be at times. Things have a way of working themselves out and I just hope and pray the same for all our neighbors from NO.

My friend and I was suppose to be on the Sensation to leave out of New Orleans Sept.10 for a 5 day sailing. We scambled like mad to find out where we were going or even if it was still going to sail. We just found out that we could take a refund or pay an extra 178.00 a piece to take the Conquest for a 7 day to Jamacia that leaves on Sept.11. So now we are leaving out of Tx. Anybody else joining us? We are both 25 and my friend is concerned that the 7 day will be an "old person" cruise
We are with you!!

My wife and I changed from the Elation to the Conquest on 9/18/05. Our friend also changed his booking to the Conquest.

We cruised on the Conquest in 2003. Out of eight cruises this is our favorite ship by far.

See you onboard.

Husband and I got switched over to the Conquest also for the 18th. However, now I am confused more than ever. How do i know where to go, which terminal or whatever. This is our first and I am a nervous wreck about the EZ Park and where to do that at as well. HELP
Thanks,
Martha

By the way, does anyone know the details of the Sunset Resort thing in Montego Bay?

We understand you take a JUTA taxi from the pier for $5. The resort charges $20 per adult for an all inclusive day. Food, drinks, etc.

If anyone knows more specifics please let me know.

Thank,s

Biguntx,
Thats pretty much all there is to know. I think even the snorkel gear is free. Im not sure if they have waverunner rentals or anything, though, but all your food and access to the pools and even drinks are free.
