I will be sailing on the Nov 19 cruise, Ft. Lauderdale to Santiago, anyone going, anyone been, any information will be helpfull

We sailed on the Millennium from Chile to Florida. We went on an excursion in Arica up into the mountains. Avoid this at all cost. We kissed the ground when we got back!! We did a tour of Chile thru Celebrity that was very good. To me there is not such thing as a bad cruise!! Have a great time

What Tour did you take in Arica that you did not care for? What about Manta? You stated that you took a "Chile" tour that was very good, which one?

The tour is described as going up into the mountains to see a lake. It was a very long tour lasting 8 hours or more. Most of those were spent driving up roads without guardrails.
The tour in Chile was thru Celebrity @ the hotel where we were staying. It was a tour of the city.
