Constellation New England/Canada Sept 23rd

We are booked on this one, anyone done this one? We are wondering if it goes thru New York Harbor, would love to see the skyline etc. Weather wise up in Canada in Sept what are we looking at? We know the Ship, took it to the Baltics, it is beautiful. Tips?

Hi janfred. I have not departed from Cape Liberty, so I am not sure exactly what you'll see from the ship. As far as weather in late September... anything goes. According to weather.com, here are some average low and high temperatures for the last week in September, keeping in mind the lows are typically recorded overnight.

Portland 45-66F
Charlottetown 46-60F
Quebec City 41-60F
Halifax 47-62F
Bar Harbor 45-66F

My best tip, after several C/NE cruises, is to be out on deck to watch the approach into Portland... the most beautiful I've seen in any place outside of Norway, with its combination of beautiful scenery and numerous lighthouses.

You will be able to see the statue of Liberty from the ship. But you won't do a sail by, like you do when leaving Manhattan. You will be able to see the NYC skyline from a distance and you will sail under some bridges.
