Celebrity Century Aft Century Suites

Has anyone stayed in or seen or have an opinion of the Century Aft Suites on Century ?

We've stayed in the original ones, aft on the Penthouse Deck. Really just standard cabins with a balcony. But they offer those great aft views and the balconies are larger. Room was adequate for three of us.

Thanks Dave, never had an Aft cabin before, the sq ft for the CC cabin shows 174 and the Century suite claims 190, so not much of a difference, but the balcony gets smaller ?? On the aft from 42 on the CC to 35 on the Century Suite, and looks like no privacy, right below the Sunset Bar ?? Would this be an upgrade ??

So many questions I know, but that's why I love ya all !

We never had a problem with being below the area now called the Sunset Bar. Well, I take that back. One day somebody dropped a cigarette and almost hit me with it.

The difference is when they modified the ship and added the family cabins with balconies on the two lower decks, they are stepped so you can see into those lower balconies and ruin their privacy.

When we cruised in the aft cabins they were the only ones. The area below was sheet metal.

They are fine if you like to see where you have been instead of where you are going.

I did not care for that aspect. You may also get a little more noise.

I just booked an aft suite for my GF and I. This will be our first Celebrity Cruise and our first Suite. Can't wait, 3-1-10.

You will have a grand time I am sure! I just know you will love this Ship like we do. I see you leave just a few days after we leave on the Mercury. March 1st is a day a sea for us leaving Key West heading out to Costa Maya. We will make a toast to you both to have a wonderful relaxing time
