I just finished a webinar with Celebrity CEO Dan Hanrahan and his team. The topic was the newest two ships in the Solstice class - Silhouette and Reflection.
Reflection will be 1 meter wider and have a deck added to put 77 new cabins aboard. This will raise the pool deck up one level.
Numerous changes to the Lawn Club on both new ships. The Corning glass museum and demo area are gone. In place will be The Porch and The Lawn Club Grill.
The Porch will seat 48 guests for complimentary breakfast and lunch service.
The Grill will seat 56 guests for reservations-only evening dinners, at $30 per person. It is all about the grill, with guests able to select meals to be prepared on a grill. The guests can also assist in fixing their meal. Artist renditions show it as being like someone's patio for an evening cookout.
The Art Studio will also be added. This will offer art classes and demos, including cooking and food presentation offerings. It can also be reserved for special dinner parties. No pricing yet.
8 private alcoves will be added along the sides. These are cabanas with seating for 2 to 4 people and will be available for partial or full-day or evening rental. Picnic baskets will be available for an extra charge.
Michael's Club will become more focused on craft beers and boutique whiskies. 50 different beers and ales will be offered, plus many specialty spirits.
