Alaska Cruise on Infinity

Hi! All
My Husband and I are sailing to Alaska from Vancouver June 17th on Infinity. As we are from the land of Oz and are spending 6 weeks in the States and Canada prior to the cruise, we shall be pretty limited to (suitcase space) it would help if anybody could give us an idea on what weather should be like and type of clothing for that time.

Alaska is quite mild in June; could be a lot of drizzle, but not really cold except near the glaciers. If you are spending six weeks in the States and Canada you will have everything you need. Just layer your outerwear so you're ready for anything.

Hello,

Have a scarf, a pair of gloves, a light jacket with a hood to protect against the rain, a wool sweater and some sweatshirts (not sure what these are called in that truly wonderful place called Australia - been there and have read "in a sunburned country"). A sweatshirt with a hood could replace the jacket if necessary.

Recommend renting a car in Juneau and Skagway. Alos hike the East Loop trail when you visit the Mendenhall Glacier outside of Juneau. Take the spectacular highway outside of Skagway up into the Canadian Yukon. The train does essentially the same trip but it is much more expensive.
