Hi all. My dad, sister and I are going to travel July 20th on Century to Scandanavia. For reasons which I won't get into involving cruising styles, analysis of cost etc, we have decided each to get an ocean view room rather than a single suite with a balcony. If we do get ocean view rooms, I want to get the best possible, and want a window rather than a porthole. Any recommendations about the best deck to be on and where best to ensure a window? Thanks!

Waterart,
We like staying as high up as we can, Vista Deck is where we were last year on the Century, we did have a veranda. I did notice cat 04 states window or porthole in the layout of the decks not very helpful. I would have to call Celebrity and ask which rooms had the window. 800-760-0654 or if your working with a TA. Anyone else know? I can tell you the Century is beautiful !

Thanks for the info! I think you are right. Makes sense to call Celebrity and ask about that.

Remember to check if the ocean view is and "obstructed Ocean View"...I didn't check one time and looking at a lifeboat for 6 days wasn't what I had in mind....Happy Sailing...
