What happened to Concierge Class?

A while back, I was debating whether to book a 2011 Mercury cruise in a sky suite or concierge class stateroom. I just went online to compare the pros and cons again but see that there's no concierge class anymore!

What happened?

They must offer it on some ships, when I typed Concierge Class into their search box (on Celebrity's web site), I got this

I found CC class for Mercury here

They are the deluxe oceanview veranda cabins if you select that category on the staterooms page.

Geez, I just went back in to check and now it's changed again!

When I looked before, the first set of Veranda cabins that were listed were C1 and C2, but now the CC is listed and C1 and C2 are gone!

Ahhh, my world is right again.

Has anyone been in a CC Veranda cabin ? I like the amenities, but many have reported poor hors d'oeurves and forgotten amenities. The cabin seems small, their 360 view is so deceiving because it curves the straight walls. See The picture is exactly the same as the C1 and C2 Verandah cabins.

We were in a CC on Century a couple of years ago. This was one of the cabins that was originally an oceanview and had a balcony tacked onto it during a refit. So, the cabins were not larger than the non-CC veranda cabins one deck below.

Yet, we did notice a difference on the M-class ships. In this case, it was our traveling companions in Concierge Class while we were in a standard balcony cabin. Their cabin was slightly larger and had a slightly longer sofa.

Our service was fine when we had the CC on Century, although I seem to remember them running out of something -- a key card wallet, I believe. No biggie.

Thanks Lisa, it was the Century I was talking about. A key card wallet, would be no biggie at all. Did you find the cabin and balcony overly small ? We have a mid ship location below the Penthouse, does that sound ok ? The price just went down another $300, amazing...

I was in CC Cabin on the Century. It was beautiful. They do put flowers and Champagne in the room. They have a pillow menue, the thick terry frette robes, umbrella and binoc's to use.
The chairs on the balcony had the cushions on they and of course you got extra CC Clubs point,
now, at least on the Solstice they have a card to see if you want the hors d'oeurves, I didn't like them...now leave some chocolate covered stawberries to go with that champagne and we are talking !! I forget some of the other little goodie you got...I love the Century it is one of my very favorite. With the re-burb they put Flat sceen tv on the wall right in front of the bed.

Thank you so much, I am looking forward to trying Celebrity so much, and I love the smaller ships, so I think this is a good way to start Celebrity Cruising....

I really appreciate janfred and LisaP letting me know how a CC cabin is and the amenities they enjoyed on the Century. And I'm right with on the Chocolate Strawberries....I could always get some at the Champagne Bar, maybe Michael's Club ??

I really can't wait for you to come back from Cruising on the Century, you know I love the Century, and tell us what you think. I will be on the Mercury on the 26th of Feb and I can't wait. I loved the Galaxy back in 98, her Sister ship and our very first Cruise that got us hooked on Celebrity. Not much longer now :0)
