Cabins on Galaxy

We have booked the Galaxy for Sept 2006 and been assigned cabin 8105 Cat 10. The deck plan shows that this and indeed most cabins on this deck are equipped for 4 with 2 Pullman Upper Berths. There are only two of us - and hence we wont be using these beds but has anyone been in one of these cabins and do these beds restrict space in any way. If they do we can likely switch to another cabin. Thanks

I haven't been on that ship, but on the ones I've been on you have to know what you're looking for to even see them.

Thats good news...anyone been in these cabins on Galaxy or Mercury - both ships appear to be simialrly configured.

I have just returned from cruising the Mediterannean on the Galaxy. Our cabin had a fold down bed, which we never used. It was on the wall and came out about 4 inches. We had twin beds set up in the room, so it was on the wall above the bed. It was really no bother at all and was hardly noticed. If you go to the Celibrity website and navagate to the stateroom page. Click on the 360 viewer for the Oceanview Stateroom. On the 360 viewer you can see the folddown bed on the walls.
