Hiya Billy, I got to check that out.

Hello everybody,
as Azamara Cruises is a Celebrity Cruises affiliate, I am moving this thread to the Celebrity Cruises sub-forum. http://cruise-chat.com/groupee_commo...icon_smile.gif |
Concierge class service through out the ship. No formal dinners, much smaller and more intimate! I can't wait to see the price tag on this cruise. http://cruise-chat.com/groupee_commo...s/icon_eek.gif

IslandCruz-This sounds like it is going to be quite a pricey operation but a smaller, deluxe ship definitely has a market.I wonder just how expensive it is going to be!Chef Ken sounds like he is ready to book!

Pricing isn't that bad for what you get. Look at these prices for a 14-day cruise! These are two of the R series ships from Renaissance Cruises.
I am interested in this new venture - although it is mostly a rebranding of the Celebrity Xplorer venture. The thing is we always cruise with our son and these ships don't appear especially kid friendly although they do accept bookings for minors. |
Hello everybody,
IMHO this new cruise line is basically an Oceania Cruises clone. RCL wanted to buy Oceania last year but they didn't get them so they're now launching a direct competitor, instead - even using the same class of ships. |
I agree with Raoul
They changed a few things so not exactly like Oceania but very close. The pricing for the longer cruises are close to Oceania's prices with their 2for 1 fare& free air something that Azamara does not offer (yet) The only good part is they do Bermuda Time will tell. Oceania cruises sell out pretty quick so there may be a market for this line |
Roughly about $150 a day is not too expensive. What makes it a challenge for most of us in the US would be the length of the cruise where a large number of us take 7 day cruises or less.

HI,
just wondering about the two ships - looks like the BLUE DREAM and BLUE MOON from Pullmantours?? How many owners did these ships already have now and why. I remember Renaissance, Delphin, Pullmantours, how long will this ownership last? Are these cruisers that attractive??? Walter |
