Thank you so very much, I am so excited

It feels just like my very first cruise, maybe even more excited

I'm just about ready to shut down my computer and head home. Hopefully my hubby is ready. I finished packing on Sunday, he started this morning

I can't wait to let y'all know my impressions of the Solstice and Celebrity. I'll be back here on the 22nd, and I promise that I'll toast everyone when I board! Stay warm and safe while I'm gone. We sure have been having some nasty weather lately.

BillyBuzzy you are getting on the Gem in New York for 10 days, then the Sky out of Miami ??? Sounds wonderful, but I am confused....probably not my business, but I am curious.

No Problemo, the Gem is an overnite out of NYC (A CTN), of which I do to keep the seaweed between my toes, NYC is an easy drive for me and in this case, a special family ocassion to honor my recently deceased Lady -she was an ultimate cruiser and there will be a special private ceremony on board in her memory. She started at age 4 aboard the QM and never stopped cruising. We met on a cruise.

The NCL Sky cruise is another adventure out of Ft.Lauderdale
in which I am taking my 93yr.old Mom, she too is a long time cruiser. She has sailed on HMS Titanic's sister ship in the 20's!!(HMS Olympic)I have the cruising addiction too!!!

My 93 yr old mother read my post and tells me I made a booboo!! I need to comment that the names of the ships mentioned were: RMS (Royal Mail Ship) Titanic and RMS Olympic!! Sorry about that!!

Now she's asking why I never take her on a White Star Liner!!!

Awwwww, BillyBuzzy I am so glad I asked, that sounds wonderful, lucky girls having you !! You met on a cruise, awwwwwwwww again, and a ceremony on the ship, that is so lovely. You certainly know how to do it.
