Galaxy refurbishment

When I called Celebrity today to reserve an Oct. 2007 cruise to the Mediterranean, they told me that Galaxy was going into dry dock for total refurbishment in April 2007. thought some of you would be happy to hear that.

You and others should know that the Oct. 13th cruise is almost sold out. More then a year ahead!
The one on Oct. 27th, 2007 still has good choice cabins thoughout the ship.
And Ms. Pacheco, Celebrity's Future Cruises Director on CENTURY, and lives in Athens, told me that's the best time to cruise the Greek Islands. Not too hot, less winds, and the kids are back in school. (Sorry, but most of you who have kids are probably checking the Carnival or RCCL's posts, anyway!)

Update on Galaxy's refurb.
As I was booking our Eastern Med Oct. 13th cruise, I asked the Century Representative abut Galaxy's revamp.
May 2008, was the answer.
And now we know...
