Leaving on our first Mediterranean cruise from Barcelona on 8/26. Sailed on the Infinity but first cruise on the Century. Anyone out there scheduled for this trip? Hear good things about the Century and can't wait to go

jcurt,
The Century if my favorite ship in the Celebrity line. It is smaller and with the refrub it is beautiful. I truly liked it over the Solstice. I have been on several and I keep saying the Century is the best. You will love your cabin. I have not been on the Infinity and will take in Jan 30 to South America, so tell me about it

janfred,
I think you will be very happy with your cruise on the Infinity. The cruise was my first on Celebrity and I was impressed with their service and dining. There is a nice little outdoor cafe on the fantail that I particularly enjoyed. The ship itself is beautiful and very tastefully appointed. The nightly shows in the theater were professionally done and quite good. My wife is sensitive to motion sickness and was pleased with the ships stabilization system and had very few problems. That may be my only concern with the Century as I understand it does not employ this system.

I am so glad to hear the good news, and thank you Cruise Fanatic, I didn't know about the stabilizers but had no problems with motion sickness. I am so looking forward to the Infinity. I do so love the Constellation and have been on her twice and also the Summitt and loved her also. Celebrity has not disappointed me so far, always wonderful !

I thought the food was really good on my Alaska cruise on the Infinity. The breakfast buffet had a lot of variety, but you had to be sure to check all stations. For instance, the waffles and crepes were found at the station way to the aft. If someone just stopped at the first stations when they walked into the buffet, then it would be easy to miss things.
