Since weight of luggage is an issue, does anyone know day time and evening temp for Dec.on the islands as well as dress code for evening on ship which I assume is smartly casual. I believe I read that Quito's high is 70, low 50.

How about the daytime and evening temperatures on the islands? Also, how do you dress during the day? Are the landings wet? Do you wear a bathing suit under shorts or capris or can you wear long pants and day hikers? I'll take as little as possible but I need to know how to dress.
