We are considering a cruise on the new ship the Silhoutte. The room our travel agent recommened is in the front of the ship. I would like some opinions of people who have had a room in the front on a cruise.
Thank you in advance for your help |
If you mean facing the bow then I've been there on other ships. It is a location that is usually fine. When I was on the Equinox we had choppy seas yet we had to spend a lot of time all the way forward in a lounge for various functions. It didn't feel much different than any other part of the ship.
I will say if the seas are truly rough you might feel it more than you would in a cabin midships. |
history, experience and physics dictate that there will be more movement at the front of the ship,IF THE SEAS HAVE SOME MOVEMENT.
if movement is a large concern, then lower in the center of the ship is best |
I was just in a forward cabin on the Statendam and it was great....any motion was like being rocked to sleep in a rocking chair.....Hurricane
season is over, so there shouldn't be a problem:-)....Happy rocking and cruising... Bob E |
