Under 24 hours - we leave Kansas City Missouri in the morning, Wednesday 3 Oct 2007 for JFK then Rome - two nights there and transfer to the port for the seven night Galaxy Eastern Med cruise. Cruise was booked in April so it's been a six month wait - apparently the planning, internet surfing and reading could go on forever but the trip's at hand and we're ready to get underway.
Many interesting things learned here over the past months - thanks to all who travel and share their experiences. Weather's a go - documents are a go and we're awfully close ourselves to being g-o-n-e gone.
