Reviews of the Silhouette
 

We are sailing on the Silhouette on November 6. Saying I am excited is an understatement. If anyone has already sailed this ship, I would like to hear some personal reviews of this ship.
This will be the first time sailing on a ship this large.

How exciting to be booked on this beautiful new ship! You may have to wait a bit for reviews, as it just completed its second cruise. Hopefully someone will check in who was on one of the first few sailings.

In any case, I'm sure Silhouette will be as spectacular as its sisters.

I know this isn't any help, blotter, but we sailed on the Solstice. This class ship is absolutely beautiful. The dining room was spectacular. The lawn was so well maintained, and the glass blowing demonstrations were incredible. They also had some pieces for sale, others they gave away during their demonstrations. We had a standard balcony cabin. There was plenty of storage area and the bed was very comfortable. I'm sure the Silhouette will have some new upgrades from the Solstice.

Be ready to walk, the ship is very large:)

It's a very nice ship, very clean, like a ship should be.

But to my opinion the quality went down.
No flavour in the food.
In the evening everything was almost empty.......
This is the 2 cruise on a solstice class ship, first time was very good...

Last september we were on a NCL gem cruise.
I was suprised how good the food was... Lot's of flavour, excellent desserts.
The food was super.

Let's hope celebrity will boost up there power again....

How was the Silhouette in Nov? I would love to hear about your trip.

The ship was beautiful. Our service in the dining room and the cabin were first rate. The Martini bar was the place to go for a drink...but get there early, it was always very full. We are very partial to Celebrity, but the Silhouette was a wonderful adventure. The deck area during the day was very busy. Sometimes it was a challange to find a deck chair. I would definatey sail the Silhouette again.

I love the Martini Bar on the Solstice-class ships, but as you say, the place gets busy.
